X-bat: Do Want

X-bat Pro Maple 14

Want. Badly.

I’ll probably buy this for next season. No sense in buying a $100+ maple bat during the winter when it’s going to get all screwed up due to moisture. Though we’re allowed to use metal bats in the winter league, I might start hitting with cheap wood bats instead. Maybe I’ll run by the Sports Authority tomorrow morning.

Showdown vs. Jacob

Posted on August 25th, 2007 in Uncategorized by Kyle

Not much time to write, but I can’t wait for the game tomorrow (today, I guess) vs. the Saints. I’ll probably pitch in relief over Bobby, which has worked out well this year. He and I both like to work quick and set up batters in much the same manner, so it’s great to follow his lead.

Jacob’s not seeing a curveball, despite what he says. He’s going to see my best fastball and changeup. I might save something for him the second time through.

Videos down / YouTube account suspended

Posted on August 8th, 2007 in Uncategorized by Kyle

I am fully aware of the videos being down and the account being suspended - it is due to the fact that I uploaded MLB.tv clips in the past. YouTube refuses to unlock my account despite my assertions that it won’t happen again, so I’ve temporarily lost all the older videos.

I’ve already opened a new YouTube account, and I’ll be uploading selected archived videos from my computer as well as the newer ones.

Readership: Please Comment!

Posted on July 30th, 2007 in Uncategorized by Kyle

I’ve been installing WordPress hacks, plugins, widgets, and tinkering with them for the past hour or so, and in doing so, I’ve noticed that we have a ton of readers from all over the state, plus a bunch of foreign visitors. This is great! Welcome to the site, and thanks for coming by.

However, I have no idea who is coming here or why they are doing so! I’ve messed with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques, and while that accounts for some of the traffic, I’m still not sure where the rest of the traffic comes from. Hopefully my plugins will start returning more information in the next few weeks, but I’d like to know from you, the end user and reader, just who you are.

Please, leave Jacob and I a comment in this post. We’d love to hear from you, and any suggestions or comments are certainly welcome.
